Position Overview

Reporting to the Company Sales Manager, you will responsible for the day to day support of the Sales Team, CEO and remaining departments within the business.  Your role is integral to the smooth running of the business therefore a high level of commitment, integrity, attention to detail and resilience is required.

Basic working hours will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 however given the nature of the business particularly at month end there may be occasions where hours may need to be worked outside of these core times.

As the Sales Operational Support & Admin your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work closely with the CEO to ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety are covered for the business including DSE assessments, risk assessments. Alerting any non-conformities immediately.
  • Responsible for Fire Safety and training within the business. Alerting any non-conformities immediately.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, always promoting the image of Blue Cube and its product portfolio
  • Proactively drive Blue Cube’s sales engagement process with all other relevant departments where appropriate and encourage the business unit to do so as well
  • Keep up to date with IT security trends that affect the business to stay abreast of updates that could cause potential threats. As an IT security company it is essential that all staff are cyber security conscious.
  • Understand and stay current with business issues that clients face and other market drivers within the sector
  • Assist marketing department with sending out of eshots/tracking and circulating of results
  • Chasing and checking progress of orders, including supporting an on boarding process liasing with customers/suppliers/vendors
  • Conduct credit checks for customer, update Salesforce and attach documentation to Salesforce
  • Provide admin support to sales staff ie scanning and emailing documents, adding quotes to Salesforce, updating lead information on Salesforce, completion of CSCL lists where needed
  • Book meetings for sales staff where needed (internal/external/customers/vendors)
  • Event organization & Welcoming Visitors – Quarterly Business Reviews, 100% Club, Christmas Event, Marketing Events, meeting and greeting visitors, arranging lunches
  • Ownership of all stationery requirements for the business
  • Ensure office maintains a professional image at all times
  • Update sales board daily with sales performance at a business and individual level, including call statistics, new customer information and leads achieved
  • Update vendor portals daily with lead information and progress on any opportunities identified
  • Maintain Salesforce records – add/update vendor contacts, customer details, attach licenses, relevant documentation
  • Provide administrative support and be point of contact for Marketing Manager during their absence – actioning any urgent email requests, following through with orders and/or ensuring events are on track
  • Support and address customer issues pre and post sales where sales team are out of the office or in need of assistance

 Following changes to the management system of ISO27001 and ISO9001 for Blue Cube Security Ltd there will also be additional duties to support the Quality Manager and other personnel.  This is currently under review but will include conducting internal audits

As the Sales Operational Support & Admin, you will have:

  • Reliable and hard working with administrative skills – proficient in MS Office
  • Confident using the telephone and actively uses to resolve progression of opportunities and customer issues
