We read regularly in the press about well-known companies being victims of significant data loss and intrusions. Cyber crime continues to pose a growing global security issue with the threat landscape being vast and dynamic and will continue to become more and more complex for a long time to come.

To further enhance the importance of this global issue, the industry has collaborated by opening The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) on 14th February 2017 – part of intelligence agency GCHQ and a part of a £1.9bn five-year strategy.  The purpose of the Centre is to make the UK a harder target for cyber criminals.

Blue Cube has been in the industry for 17 years and has experienced continued growth and success since its launch. The company is further reacting to the growing threat landscape and expanding its sales team. There is a real shortage and therefore demand for highly skilled cyber security experts across all disciplines, to tackle this issue Blue Cube is inviting applications for the intake of The Blue Cube Academy where it plans to ‘nurture and grow its own’ talent.

 

What is The Blue Cube Academy?
The Blue Cube Academy is a comprehensive training and mentoring programme which helps recruits develop the knowledge and skills to be a successful sales person in the cyber security industry. Through this in-depth training, successful applicants will be able to guide and advise customers through the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.

Based on comprehensive training materials, delivered alongside world leading channel partners, students will have a structured route to building a solid foundation of knowledge of the market. Whilst gaining a successful and rewarding career in the fight against cyber crime with one of the leading and most respected firms in its field.

Who The Academy is looking for
The ideal candidate will be

  • Innovative and creative – always looking at ways to create additional prospects and build on pipeline
  • Tenacious / resilient – can overcome objections/sees the positive, moves on to the next challenge
  • Approachable and personable– able to build and maintain good relationships
  • Driven – understands their targets, takes ownership of targets, controls their results
  • Able to plan and well organised with their own time and customers’ needs
  • Clear and confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with senior influencers within the industry and Blue Cube in person and on the telephone

 

This role will be based out of the company’s headquarters in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

The time to contain attacks can have a significant impact on the total cost of cyber crime.
